How to Find The Right Man or Right Woman

Finding that special person that you can have a romantic relationship with is easier said than done. Relationships are hard to come by these days; let alone if you’re looking for marriage material. So if you’re out there looking, here are a few tips!

1. Avoid unrealistic expectations. If a man expects “Sleeping Beauty” or if a woman expects “Prince Charming”; I have some bad news: IT”S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!! Sometimes people base their hopes off of what they see on TV and reading fictional books and novels. You have to differentiate between fiction and the real world!
2. If you are looking for the “perfect” person; I have some more bad news: YOU WON”T GET THE PERFECT PERSON!! We all are imperfect. Even the most righteous and honorable person in the world has flaws and shortcomings. So in a relationship expect the person to have flaws and even some undesirable things. Remember that the other person is going to see the same thing out of you. If you can’t deal with the other persons flaws; either move on or stay by yourself!
3. We all would like someone who’s attractive and has desirable qualities. But instead being concerned about what the other person has to offer; you have to ask yourself: “What do I have to offer”? “What do I bring to the table”?
4. When searching for the right guy; women should inquire about the man from reputable and trustworthy people such as family members and friends. Find out what kind of people this man associates with and what kind of family he comes from. Discern if the man is a responsible person. Find out if he is the kind of person that has the tendency to be violent or abusive. Discern if he is actually marriage material. And don’t forget that men can gossip and talk too much like some women. Observe that too.
5. When searching for the right woman; men should look for a woman that has some get up and go. Not a woman who is lazy. Inquire of her reputation just like a woman would do a man. Is she the kind of girl who gossips too much and keeps up trouble? Or is she the kind that knows how to mind her own business? Can she actually be wife material?
6. Remember in a relationship you have two people with different backgrounds,experieces,cultures,etc. So you won’t and can’t agree on everything. Expect to have some disagreements. The important thing is communicating with the other person and talking things out and settling them.
7. Don’t be overly concerned with how a person looks or what they have. You have to ask yourself: Is this person a spiritual person? Or is this person materialistic and self-centered? Look for the intangible qualities.
